WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Congressman Cliff Bentz (OR-02) announced the annual process of nominating Oregon students to attend the nation's prestigious service academies for the upcoming Class of 2029.

"It is an honor to be a part of a process that supports young leaders from Oregon’s Second Congressional District who exemplify leadership, academic excellence, character, and patriotism towards our country, said Bentz.”

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Cliff Bentz (OR-O2) announced that Tyler Correa, a senior from Phoenix High School, out of a record number of 40 submissions, has been selected as the winner of OR-02’s 2024 Congressional Art Competition! Tyler’s artwork, Strawberries, was chosen by a panel of three judges who praised the piece as having ‘amazing textures and details”.  Tyler may travel to Washington, D.C., to see her artwork displayed in the national student art exhibit in the U.S.
