WASHINGTON— Congressman Cliff Bentz (R-OR) released the names of the 7 individuals he nominated to be considered for attendance at our nation’s service academies.

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Cliff Bentz (OR-O2) announced that Tyler Correa, a senior from Phoenix High School, out of a record number of 40 submissions, has been selected as the winner of OR-02’s 2024 Congressional Art Competition! Tyler’s artwork, Strawberries, was chosen by a panel of three judges who praised the piece as having ‘amazing textures and details”.  Tyler may travel to Washington, D.C., to see her artwork displayed in the national student art exhibit in the U.S.

WASHINGTON – On Friday, May 3, 2024, Chairman Cliff Bentz (OR-02) led a Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife, and Fisheries oversight field hearing titled, “How Many Wolves Are Enough? Examining the Need to Delist the Grey Wolf.”

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Cliff Bentz (OR-02) gave the following speech on the House floor in defense of America's ranchers. This speech occurred during debate on H.R. 764 the “Trust the Science Act” which will delist the Gray Wolf from the Endangered Species Act in the Lower 48 states:

WASHINGTON – On Friday, May 3, 2024, Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife, and Fisheries Chairman Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.) will lead an oversight field hearing titled, “How Many Wolves Are Enough? Examining the Need to Delist the Grey Wolf.”

WASHINGTON – Congressman Cliff Bentz (OR-02) has announced that on May 3rd in Minnesota, the Congressional Subcommittee of Natural Resources on Water, Wildlife, and Fisheries will convene a field hearing addressing the growing harm being done by the gray wolf to elk, deer, moose, farmers, ranchers, and outdoorsmen.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Cliff Bentz (OR-02) introduced legislation aimed at protecting agricultural producers in the Klamath Basin because of the dam removal.
