Congressional App Challenge

The Congressional App Challenge is a public initiative to encourage middle and high school students to pursue an interest in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, math, and computer science. Students compete by creating and submitting their own software application or "app" for the opportunity to receive national recognition.

Registration is open June 24 - November 1, 2022. Students may enter the competition individually or as teams. The winners will be announced during the month of December 2021. Videos of the winning apps will be featured in the U.S. Capitol Building and on the House of Representatives website. Winning students will be invited to a reception in Washington, D.C.
