Congressman Bentz Applauds Nearly $4.5 Million Federal Grant for Josephine County to Combat Coronavirus Pandemic

ONTARIO – Today, Congressman Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.) applauded the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recent announcement of a federal grant for the State of Oregon, to include nearly $4.5 million for COVID-19 response efforts in Josephine County, Oregon.

 “I am pleased to join FEMA in announcing a federal grant for almost $4.5 million in funding for Josephine County,” said Bentz. “These funds will bolster efforts by the County to administer vaccines and implement emergency protective measures in response to the coronavirus pandemic. I thank FEMA for supporting COVID-19 response efforts in Oregon, and I will continue working with counties, community leaders, and healthcare professionals across the Second Congressional District to defeat this virus and ensure our state can reopen.”
